Great photos, esp. the last one of stars and the Milky Way band. Saw this similar sky one night during my recent Grand Canyon trip -- but I could not capture the image with my camera. Thanks for posting on the Internet!

LOL! Thanks, Martin! Yes, you were the mysterious "photo-friend" in the post. I wasn't sure if I was allowed to use your name! :)

Jen is hot! I'm a lucky guy! She says, "Hello!". We need to get together soon. I'm bummed about Look3. Hopefully next year. We're looking in to the Maui festival. I'm really interested in going. We'll see!

Thanks for the comment. The vignette is done in post-processing and is purely artistic. It may be overdone in the Dead Horse Point image, but I like it! :) To answer the question about lenses, I primarily used the Nikon 17-55MM f2.8 lens. I've never seen vignetting in the lens (that I haven't added in post!).

I just finished designing, building, scripting, etc. an iPhone version of my photography web site portfolio. It looks just like a mobile web app. This will automatically redirect your iPhone (or any interface with a screen width less than 800) away from our fully flash website to this iPhone compatible version. Take a gander and let us know what ya think.

From your iPhone - www.bwrightphoto.com
From your desktop safari browser - www.bwrightphoto.com/m/

Check out our BLOG for more info!

Ditto on the Key West Butterfly Conservatory. I only could spend about 30 minutes there, but took photos at least every minute with amazingly good results. Most of the flying beauties posed for me as they were settled in their favorite late afternoon spots shortly before closing time.

Hi Robert! I have the fortune to live in Cozumel island for the last 8 years and here i found the perfect way to relax and exercise at the same time by doing snorkeling. A couple of friends of mine run Duende Tours, http://onejungle.com/adventure-community/adventure-travel-blog/Going-Diving-and-Snorlkeling-to-Cozumel.html, an ecoturism travel agency and they inspired me to get into the sonrkel world, i have no words to describe the peaceful i feel when i see all that life underwater, i´m seriously thinking on buy a housing for mi camera and share all the beauty you can see when you plan your next vacation to this amazing place.
